Samara Dancers

Located in the Kitsap Peninsula of Washington State is the Samara Dancers. Samara means “Guardian”. Although the troupe was established in 1994, some of the members have been dancing together since 1985. Their repertoire includes traditional middle eastern folk dance (debke), modern Cabaret (raks al sharki), American Fusion (or American tribal), Gypsy interpretive, and African interpretive. The dance styles are a fusion of dance movements from Turkey, Greece, and the Arab countries and cover a wide range of human emotions.

Samara Dancers provide entertainment suitable for the entire family. The troupe's director, Kehlila Nasnan, has been dancing since 1983.
